Devon Fletcher, a lonely history major stranded at college after a snowstorm cancels his flight home for Christmas. When he orders Chinese food from his regular delivery guy, Mù Mùchén, he has no idea that Mùchén has been secretly crushing on him for months—and that all those extra dumplings, cookies, chili oils, and scallion pancakes were failed attempts at flirting. When Mùchén realizes Devon is spending Christmas alone, he finally decides to stop hiding behind takeout bags and make his move. What begins as a delivery turns into a Christmas Eve first date, a first kiss, a couch-cuddling snowstorm sleepover, and an invitation into Mùchén’s warm, loud, nosy, food-loving family.
